A Cooperative Pre-School
Tobay Day School is one of Long Island's oldest nursery schools. It began as a neighborhood playgroup in 1954. For the following two years Tobay pre-school grew out of its first home. In its third year of educating and nurturing the communities pre-school children, Tobay Day School took up residence at its current long island location near the heart of Syosset.
Our school is conveniently located one block from the Syosset LIRR Train station, 2 miles from Seaford-Oyster Bay Expressway and accessible to the North Shore of Long Island. We have a large shaded outdoor recreation area for the kids to play and imagine. Our pre-school has two clasrooms, a computer lab, Story time corner and a multi-use room on the lower level to encourage exploration and learning, even during inclement weather.
